About Dosis

No more.
No less.

Which supplements make sense for you, which do not, and why. Each one with its form, dose, time of day and the evidence behind it. No sponsors and no promises.

01

Why Dosis exists

The world of supplements is noisy.

Endless actives, contradictory claims, combinations impossible to make sense of. The information exists, and much of it is good, but it is buried under layers of marketing and complexity. Dosis was created to change that.

We believe in supplements and in what science says they can do. But we also believe nobody should need a PhD to know what to take. Or hours of research. Or blind trust in a brand.

There are already not enough hours in the day. Strength training and cardio, meditation, eight hours of sleep, eating well, work, looking after the people we love and finding time for ourselves. The list keeps growing.

We want supplements to be the easy part.

So we made it simple: a few questions, the evidence filtered, and exactly what makes sense for each person, in what form, at what dose and when. And also what is not needed.

We do not sell anything. The decision is yours, with all the information in front of you.

Five shelves, five colours

The library is organised by what each active does in the body. Each shelf has its own colour: you will see it on the spines, on the profiles and in your result.

03

The evidence, named and linked

Each active shows its level of evidence up front, and each study links to its source. We start from the health claims authorised in the EU and from EFSA opinions.

  • Strong9 activesConsistent trials and reviews in people, or health claims authorised in the EU.
  • Promising17 activesTrials in people that point the same way, but still few, small or funded by the manufacturer.
  • Experimental10 activesEarly data in people or, mostly, from the laboratory. It only appears at the advanced level, and we say so.

What we do not do

  • We do not diagnose

No disease triggers a supplement. We ask how you feel and what you want to achieve.

  • We do not sell anything

We only link to products in other shops whose label meets the profile, and if they only partly meet it we say why. Today we earn no commission; if one day we do, the link will say so.

  • We do not store anything

The quiz runs in your browser. No sign-up, no cookies and no forms.

  • We stop when we should

For under-18s, pregnancy and breastfeeding we do not generate a protocol: that advice belongs to your healthcare professional.

05

How to read a result

Every active has to earn its place.

Answers build, goals set priorities and nothing is repeated. This is a real quiz result for a sample profile: a woman aged 30 to 39 with stress almost every day, period pain and who sometimes takes a while to fall asleep; her goals are managing stress and sleeping better. Alongside L-theanine and Omega-3 (EPA + DHA), at the Core level.

How it decides, in detail

01

Magnesium L-threonate

Promising
1
From your answers
  • Goal: Better sleep
  • Cycle: Period pain that bothers me
  • Falling asleep: Sometimes
2
How to take it

Magnesium L-threonate (Magtein®). ≈1.5–2 g of L-threonate (≈100–145 mg of elemental magnesium) a day. If your multivitamin contains magnesium, subtract it. In the evening, 1–2 hours before bed.

3
Caution

If you have kidney disease, ask first. Keep it 2–4 hours apart from levothyroxine, bisphosphonates and antibiotics (tetracyclines, quinolones). Its EU authorisation excludes pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  1. 1Your answers, not a template. You always see why each active is included.
  2. 2Form, dose and timing, as in the studies.
  3. 3On medication? Read the caution. You can remove the active and the next one takes its place.
